  • April 2010 -  The band traveled to Newark, NJ to perform at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on National Public Radio's " A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor".Listen to the archive show here  "A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor"
  • April 2010 - The Manassas, VA newspaper featured an article about The Danger Zone's appearance on NPR. Read the newspaper article about our trip.
  • January 2010 - Happy New Year to all our friends!  The Danger Zone has been recording some new tunes at Sonic Waves in Fairfax.  Look for a new CD release later this year.  We've also been adding new songs to the set list.  New addition to the band, Jamie MacDonald, will be playing bass on many of our 2010 dates.   It's going to be a good year!
  • October 2008 - Karl, JD, Hugh and Brian spent an afternoon recording at Tommy Lepson's studio.  Soon to be released tunes include Karl's song "Something About You", as well as a cover of The Nighthawks "Metropolitan Avenue".
  • June 21, 2008 - The Danger Zone will be appearing at the Columbia Pike Blues Festival in Arlington, VA at 2pm.  It's going to be bigger and better than ever.  Roomful of Blues is the headliner this year.  Be ready for some dancing in the streets!
  • September 2007, bass player Hugh McGuire joins the band. The Danger Zone debuts at two new locations ... Madigan's and Fox Chase Tavern. 
  • WPFW-FM (89.3 Washington, DC) Da Gator reports that he has been playing cuts from The Danger Zone's CD.  You can hear Da Gator every Saturday afternoon on the radio and on the internet.  Call in to request more Danger Zone at 202-588-0893. 
  • Car Talk plays Cadillac (Jan. 20, 2007) - NPR's "Car Talk" (show # 200703) played a clip of Karl's song "Cadillac."  You can hear it online at http://cartalk.com/ct/review/index.jsp
  • International airplay!  (Dec 5, 2006) Radio DJ Kjell Andreassen at Radio Holstebro in Denmark reports he played "No Name Girl" from "Houserockin' Blues" the three-song CD by Karl Stoll and The Danger Zone.  So, if you are in Denmark, or have friends in Denmark, be sure to tune in to 97.4 FM, the station is also heard on cable radio at 89.0.  For more information see www.RadioHolstebro.dk   
  • In August 2006, the band spent a day in the studio recording a new 3-song demo.  It's the beginning of Karl's first full length CD project.  Stay tuned!
